Jeff Capel and Pitt Back Trying to Recruit Elite 2022 Shooter Noah Batchelor

Pitt’s need to add long-range shooters to their roster is well known and the staff continues to work to fill that need.
IMG Academy 2022 3-star wing Noah Batchelor (6-foot-6, 185-pounds) visited Pitt during the summer and listed them as a finalist before eventually committing to the Memphis Tigers.
However, after some inconsistent communication with the Memphis coaching staff, Batchelor decided to de-commit on February 6 and is one of the top available talents on the market.
Batchelor visited Pitt prior to his commitment and enjoyed the visit so much, that he told Zach Schumaker in an interview that had he not chosen Memphis, Pitt would have been right up there as a potential future home.
Memphis commit Noah Batchelor reveals that he nearly committed to Pitt.
"I took my unofficial visit to Pitt and I was like, this is going to be it…and then Memphis gave me a call to come on an unofficial visit…and it was home."@PittGuru @MichalowskiCBB @ChrisDokish pic.twitter.com/hlQX34huGV

Considering that, it’s not surprising to hear that Pitt is once again attempting to revive Batchelor’s interest in their program.
Batchelor tells Josh Nichols of 24/7 High School Hoops that the schools that he’s currently hearing from the most are Pitt, Maryland, LSU, Creighton, UNLV and Georgia.
