On Tuesday night, Lincoln Park guard Brandin Cummings added to his division one offer list, adding a scholarship from head coach Greg McDermott and Creighton.
“It means a lot to me,” Cummings told PSN about the offer. “It shows that the hard work is finally paying off. Putting in hours and hours of blood sweat and tears in the gym will always have its benefits.”
Cummings, a 6-foot-2 guard in the class of 2024, averaged 21 points and three assists per game this season as a sophomore for Lincoln Park. In addition to Creighton, he holds offers from South Carolina, Bryant, and Youngstown State, with interest from Pitt and Robert Morris.
The younger brother of Colgate transfer Nelly Cummings, Brandin just recently visited Pitt alongside his older brother.
“It was good,” he said. “Probably the best experience of a visit I’ve been on.”
