On Monday, Robert Morris guard Chase Cook entered the transfer portal after two seasons with the program.
Cook joined the program as a preferred walk-on and did not play any games his freshman year. This past year, he had a bigger role, appearing in 23 games for the Colonials and scoring 17 points and dishing out 11 assists. A 5-foot-10-point guard, Cook is a native of Washington D.C. and committed to Robert Morris after his high school career at Calvin Coolidge.
While he was in high school, he had reportedly received interest from Howard, Virginia State, and Bowie State prior to his commitment to RMU. Cook joins Justin Winston, Kam Farris, and Brandon Stone as Robert Morris players that have entered the portal since the end of this season.
