The Pitt staff continues their efforts to try and land one of the top shooters in the Transfer Portal.
The Citadel 6-foot-5 shooting guard Jason Roche tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that on Wednesday he had another conversation with the Pitt staff. This comes after a Zoom call last week with the entire Pitt staff.
Roche told PSN “I am still very interested in Pitt,” said Roche. “Yeah I’ve had great conversations with the coaching staff. I possibly will take a visit but nothing is scheduled.”
Jake Weingarten reported that Roche is making an official visit to Missouri this weekend and spoke yesterday with Kansas State and Fordham. Last season with The Citadel, Roche connected on 110 three pointers and averaged 13.2 points per game.
