The 5-foot-11 guard averaged 9.5 points per game while shooting 42% from the field and 37% from three-point range. Johnson made 11 starts for the Dukes and connected on 41 3-point shots.
Johnson arrived to Duquesne from Hargrave Military Academy and was a 3-star recruit in their Class of 2021. Johnson selected Duquesne over other offers from Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Montana State, North Texas, St. Bonaventure and Utah Valley.
Prior to his decision to transfer, Duquesne appeared to have the nucleus for a solid future backcourt considering both Johnson and Primo Spears were just freshmen.
