The Pitt Panthers wrapped up their 2022 spring football practices with their Blue/Gold Spring Game at Heinz Field.

This was the players final formal practice before fall camp starts in August and the start of the regular season on Thursday, September 1 against West Virginia.

Along with evaluating players on their roster, this was important for the Pitt staff because they hosted a number of recruits on unofficial visits. Players that made the trip to Pittsburgh had the opportunity to be at Heinz Field for the scrimmage, along with touring the Pitt facilities, meeting current players and coaches in the Pitt Program and having the chance to see and experience the city of Pittsburgh.

Here is the list of names that PSN has confirmed and we’re working to add more names to this list.

Maybe pitt is actually looking for better caliber of player and not taking just bodies. Western pa football is not what it use to be.
