Update. 6 p.m: The third offer of the day for RMU is 6-foot-6 New Jersey shooting guard Brendan Oliver. Oliver is in the Class of 2025 and plays for Newark Academy. Oliver also has a Howard offer.

Update: 3:30 p.m:  Another Robert Morris offer, this one to 2023 Jacksonville Beach, Florida wing Isaac Taveras. Taveras is a 6-foot-6 native of the Dominican Republic playing at North Florida Education Institute. He has previous offers from FAU and Jacksonville.

Update: 2:30 p.m:  Robert Morris has offered 2023 shooting guard Devin Vanterpool from Christ the King Regional in Middle Village, New York. Vanterpool is a 6-foot-3, 175-pound guard. The Colonials are his first Division I offer.

Update: 11:30 a.m:  The Virginia baseball team will be ranked No. 8 in the country when Pitt comes to visit this weekend, as the Cavaliers dropped from No. 3 in the latest D1Baseball.com Top 25 poll.

The Panthers won’t be trembling in facing a top 10 foe, though. Pitt took two of three against then-No. 5 Louisville April 2-3 and swept then-No. 20 Clemson in a doubleheader March 25.

Overall, Pitt has won eight of its last 10 games. The Panthers will visit Kent State for a mid-week game Tuesday before making the trip to Charlottesville for three games starting Saturday.

Update: 10:30 a.m: Alan Saunders of Pittsburgh Sports Now joined the Dan Siegel Show to talk about the Pitt spring practices.

Update: 9:30 a.m: Class of 2023 Canon-McMillan linebacker Kent McMahon was at Navy’s junior day and spring practice on Saturday. McMahon is the younger brother of former Big Macs lineman and current Midshipman Connor McMahon.

Update: 8:30 a.m: Pitt hosted a kicking prospect over Blue-Gold weekend, as 2023 kicker and punter Shane Messenger from St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C. was at Heinz Field.
