Another day and another elite recruit making a visit to the Pitt football program.
A day after hosting four highly rated recruits from Philadelphia, Pitt will host a top rated defensive star.
2023 defensive end Dashawn Womack, from the talent rich St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland, is in Pittsburgh today for an unofficial visit.
Womack (6’4”, 220) is a 4-star recruit that holds an impressive offer list from programs such as Pitt, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Penn State, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. 247 Sports rates Womack as one of the Top 140 juniors and Top 20 defensive ends in the country.
Womack has made recent visits to LSU, Michigan, Maryland, Georgia, Rutgers, West Virginia and Penn State.
Womack was planning on listing a Top 8 today but has since changed those plans. Pitt extended Womack his offer back on November 1, with Andre Powell serving as his chief recruiter.
