Local Standout Devin Carney Adds Offer From St. Bonaventure

Published

on

Just days after de-committing from Elon, Butler star guard Devin Carney picked up an offer from St. Bonaventure.

The 6-foot-1 combo guard averaged over 25 points per game this season as a senior. The 2,000-point scorer’s poise and basketball IQ, as well as his pure scoring ability, combine to make him one of the best players in the Pittsburgh area. He originally committed to Elon last summer, but after head coach Mike Schrage recently left Elon for an assistant coaching position at Duke, Carney decided to reopen his recruitment last week.

Prior to his commitment to Elon, Carney had offers from Duquesne, Holy Cross, George Mason, Furman, Rice, North Carolina A&T, Radford, Northern Illinois, and more.
