**While recruiting in the Northeast, Tim Salem extends an offer to 2024 4-star defensive end Jerod Smith from Loomis Chaffee High School in Windsor, Connecticut. Smith is rated by Rivals as a Top 200 sophomore. Smith also has early offers from Arizona, Boston College, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Tennessee, Virginia and Wake Forest.

Update (9:37 PM)-
**A second offer today from Pitt to a player from Philadelphia. 2023 3-star offensive tackle Naquil Betrand (6’7″, 315) from Northeast High School received an offer from Cory Sanders. Betrand gets this Pitt offer despite currently being committed to Colorado. Betrand has also been offered by Bowling Green, Kent State, Memphis, Temple, Texas A&M, Tulsa and Washington.

Update (9:28 PM)-

**Pitt continues to recruit in Philadelphia as today Cory Sanders offers 2024 3-star athlete Kahmir Prescott from Northeast High School. Prescott’s other two offers are from Penn State and Boston College.

**Ryan Manalac and Pitt extend an offer today to 2024 3-star athlete Garrett Stover (6’2″, 195) from Big Walnut High School in Sunbury, Ohio. Stover also holds offers from Iowa State and Akron. Stover made a visit to Pitt at the beginning of April.

 

Update (7:38 PM)-
**Another offer today extended by the Pitt staff as this one goes to freshman wide receiver Dez Jones from DePaul Catholic in Wayne, New Jersey. This talented freshman already holds offers from Nebraska, Penn State, UConn, Boston College, Rutgers and Syracuse.

Update (7:33 PM)-
**Tiquan Underwood and Pitt extend an offer today to 2024 safety Cam Richardson (6’2″, 185) from Jersey City, New Jersey. Richardson is high school teammates with Pitt 2023 commit wide receiver Zion Fowler. Richardson previously received offers from Louisville, Boston College, Maryland, Akron, Penn State, UMass, West Virginia and Syracuse.

Update (7:21 PM)-

**Pine-Richland 2024 offensive guard and defensive tackle Ryan Cory (6’4″, 290) received an offer today from Toledo. This becomes Cory’s third D-1 offer to go along with ones from Kansas State and Oregon.

**Tim Salem was at Springfield Central High School in Springfield, Massachusetts on Monday afternoon. PSN is told that Salem was there to check on 2023 OL Jayden Bass, 2023 OL Ahmari Owens, 2023 DE Josiah Griffin and 2023 DT Bryce Warrick. At this point, Bass holds offers from Navy, Army, Air Force, UMass, UConn, Buffalo, Maine, Fordham, Central Michigan and Akron. Owens has received offers from New Hampshire and Maine, while Griffin has offers from West Virginia, Boston College, UMass and UConn.
