Twitter Reaction to Jordan Addison Entering the NCAA Transfer Portal

Published

on

It’s been a days-long saga, but Jordan Addison has finally entered the NCAA transfer. And while ESPN reports that Addison isn’t a lock to leave, still considering a Pitt return, it’s highly unlikely that he will be in a Pitt uniform in 2022.

With USC heavily linked to Addison, along with whispers of Alabama, Texas and nearly every college football powerhouse, he’ll have plenty of options. But it appears that USC is the heavy favorite to land him.

Addison leaving is one thing. But the more disturbing one was where the starting DT and Safety were considering as well. As a Fan I bought a ticket for the Louisville game for October now.

Nothing like buying a Concert or Soccer Match ticket in Advance and then not having the Headliner in the Show.

Glorified AAU/Travel team drama at this point.

Hopefully all of his Academic Credits transfer, something a Student would have to weigh.

So now how does a “top 25 recruiting class” be figured out each year? Can’t just figure in high school athletes into the equation.

Week 2 would get real interesting if he transferred to Tennessee

They don’t have the money bags that USC and Bama have.

College should be for real student-athletes. Not phony ones. I’d have much more respect for the sport and the colleges.
