On Wednesday, Pitt targets Guillermo Diaz-Graham and Jorge Diaz-Graham will be announcing their college decision at 3:30 p.m. est.
Jorge is 6-foot-10 power forward, while Guillermo is a 7-foot center. The brothers moved from Spain to the United States this year to play for IMG Academy, and saw their recruitments blow up to the high major Division I level.
The brothers both visited UMass last week, shortly after visiting Pitt. Recruiting Insiders are forecasting that the Diaz-Graham brothers will select UMass.
At this point, Pitt still has five scholarships available for the 2022-23 season. The Panthers have added forwards Blake Hinson and Fede Federiko so far this off-season, but are still looking for a power forward to fill in after Mo Gueye’s departure.
That’s just embarrassing if we lose out to UMASS.
