Former Pitt C Max Amadasun Transfers to St. Bonaventure

On Saturday, former Pitt big Max Amadasun transferred to Saint Bonaventure, taking his talents to the Atlantic 10 after playing a limited role for the Panthers in two seasons.

Amadasun played in just 11 games in his Pitt career, seeing his minutes decrease from three per game as a freshman to 1.3 per game this season. The Dublin, Ireland native scored a total of four points in his career with the Panthers.

Amadasun entered Pitt as the No. 252 prospect in the nation (247 Sports), and was a top-50 center in the class of 2020. This season, he scored two points in Pitt’s loss to Vanderbilt.

After Amadasun entered the transfer portal, Pitt had seven spots to fill. However, since then, the Panthers have added the Diaz-Graham brothers, Blake Hinson, and Fede Federiko to bolster their front court alongside John Hugley. The program currently has two spots to fill, and is currently hosting guard Greg Elliott on an official visit.
