New Jersey 4-star athlete Kahlil Ali tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that he’ll be using one of his official visits to come to Pitt.

Ali (Pennsauken, New Jersey) plans on making his official visit to Pitt during the weekend of June 16-18. Credit Pitt safeties coach Cory Sanders for being the lead recruiter on Ali.

Pittsburgh Sports Now caught up with Ali to get his thoughts on Pitt and what’s stood out about them.

“I like how Coach Narduzzi runs things there and how he’s changed the program there,” said Ali. “I have a connection with him, and Coach Sanders and I like how he runs things with his safeties and the love that they’ve shown me.”

Ali has settled on a Top Five of Pitt, Cincinnati, Boston College, Louisville and West Virginia. He tells PSN that his official visit dates are Cincinnati (June 4-6), Boston College (June 11-13), Pitt (June 16-18), Louisville (June 20-22) and West Virginia (June 23-25).

Other Power Five programs that offered Ali were Florida State, Illinois, Maryland, Miami, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia and Wisconsin.

This will be Ali’s third visit to Pitt, with the last one being a 2-day visit back at the end of March.
