Watch: Laurel Highlands WR Rodney Gallagher Picks West Virginia

Published

on

West Virginia football’s recruiting continues to thrive as the Mountaineers receive a commitment from the highest rated prospect during Neal Brown’s tenure. WV Sports Now’s own Logan Carney was at Laurel Highlands High School to cover Gallagher’s announcement.

“I want to thank my family from being here from the start and everything they’ve done from day one. I want to thank my coaches, teammates that pushed me everyday to be a better player. The community, I thank them a lot. A kid from Uniontown, not a lot make it out of here. With that being said, I will continue my athletic and academic career at West Virginia,” Gallagher said.

seems like 95% of kids today are in the portal in 2 years. The state of college football is tough to root for.

Thinking of Devonshire? Took Kentucky’s money then ran home.

Devonshire was a 2019 recruit to Kentucky, transferred back to PITT in 2020. NIL was not available until July 2021. So if $$$ was involved it was wink-wink money.
