Die-Hards: Pitt Basketball 2023 Recruiting Board: Early Summer Update

Now that the Pitt basketball staff has added several key pieces to this year’s roster, let’s take a look at the future of the Panther program and check out some of the players that the staff is watching.

The Panthers currently have one commitment in the class, Marlon Barnes out of Brush High School in Cleveland, Ohio.

This table depicts who Pitt has reached out to lately, and who they have reached out to at least once. The prospects whose names are in red are the prospects that have told Pittsburgh Sports Now that they have been hearing from Pitt often as of late or have scheduled (or working on scheduling) a visit. The prospects in orange have heard from Pitt multiple times in the past but are also being targeted by other schools more often. The prospects in yellow have heard from Pitt in the past, but Pitt is rarely or never reaching out anymore. The prospects in green have committed to the Pitt program.
