Pitt football’s first two commitments for their Class of 2023 will be in town this weekend for their official visits.
4-star wide receiver Zion Fowler announced on Tuesday that will travel to Pittsburgh for his official visit. Fowler will be joined by his future quarterback, 4-star recruit Kenny Minchey.
Fowler (Jersey City, New Jersey) ended his recruiting early as he committed to Pitt back on October 26 of 2021 but that hasn’t stopped teams from pursuing him. Over the last couple of months, Fowler has picked up new offers from Louisville, Michigan State, Syracuse and Duke.
Fowler is a spectacular athlete that has the speed and hands to be the next star wide receiver to come out of the Panthers program.
Despite already being committed, it’s important for Pitt to get Fowler back on campus and to be around current Panther players as well as Minchey and other potential recruits.
Other scheduled official visitors this weekend are: 3-star DE Antonio Camon, 3-star athlete Montravious Lloyd, 3-star DT Isaiah Neal, 3-star defensive back Brice Pollack, 3-star DE DeeJay Holmes, 3-star defensive end Calvin Smith, 3-star athlete Javious Bond, 3-star defensive back Shadarian Harrison, 3-star wide receiver Kenny Johnson, 3-star defensive back Shelton Lewis, 3-star wide receiver Tastean Reddicks, 4-star defensive end Jalen Thompson, Minchey.
