It may have come down to the wire for 2023 four-star offensive lineman Stanton Ramil to announce his early June official visit, but the huge lineman will be visiting Pitt this weekend.

Ramil, a 6-foot-7, 310-pound offensive tackle from Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama, is officially spending a few days in Pittsburgh, making the return to Pitt for a few days between June 2-4.

Ramil initially made an unofficial visit to Pittsburgh in March, making his way to Pitt’s South Side facilities with his brother, and it’s come after Pitt extended Ramil his very first Power Five offer.

With offers from Alabama State, Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Colorado, Duke, Florida State, Indiana, Jackson State, Kentucky, LSU, Louisville, Marshall, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Northwestern, Pitt, South Carolina, South Florida, Syracuse, Tennessee, UAB, UCF, Virginia and West Virginia, Ramil has received offers from schools all across the country.

And with an official visit planned to Pitt on June 2-4, it’s the very first and earliest opportunity to really dig into a potential future school.

Ramil has also visited Penn State, Clemson, Alabama, Mississippi State, Tennessee, North Carolina, Duke, Syracuse, Virginia, Auburn and Ole Miss this spring.

247Sports rates Ramil as the 196th-ranked recruit in the class (20th-ranked offensive tackle and the 15th-ranked recruit from Alabama) while Rivals rates him as the 35th-ranked offensive tackle and the 23rd-ranked recruit from Alabama.

With an official visit from Ramil, who has received offers from major programs across the country, this is the opportunity to lure one of the top recruits in the country to Pitt.

He will be joined by fellow recruits in three-star wide receiver Kenny Johnson (Dallastown, Pennsylvania), three-star running back Montravius Lloyd (Lakewood, Florida), three-star defensive lineman Isaiah Neal (Baltimore, Maryland), three-star defensive end Antonio Camon (Tampa, Florida), three-star defensive end Calvin Smith (Ocoee, Florida), three-star defensive end DeeJay Holmes (Pahokee, Florida), three-star defensive back Brice Pollock (Snellville, Georgia), three-star cornerback Shelton Lewis (Stockbridge, Georgia), four-star defensive end Jalen Thompson (Detroit, Michigan), athlete Javious Bond (Gray, Georgia) and cornerback Shadarion Harrison (Lakeland, Florida).

Along with 2023 Pitt commits in four-star quarterback Kenny Minchey (Hendersonville, Tennessee) and four-star wide receiver Zion Fowler (Jersey City, New Jersey).
