The Pitt Panthers running back depth chart will be minus one player when they report to camp in August.
Pittsburgh Sports Now has confirmed that Florida 3-star running back Jordaan Bailey, a member of Pitt’s Class of 2022, won’t be joining the Pitt football program.

Issues surrounded Bailey originally joining Pitt last year. After originally committing to Pitt, Bailey de-committed before eventually signing his Letter of Intent in December. The reason for the original de-commitment was due to academic issues and those same issues will prevent him from enrolling at Pitt.
While the loss of Bailey won’t impact Pitt this season due to a stacked backfield of Israel Abanikanda, Rodney Hammond, Vincent Davis and Daniel Carter, Pitt will likely try and sign two running backs to their Class of 2023.
Bailey was a player Pitt was excited about because of his speed and ability to catch the ball out of the backfield.
Hopefully he gets a shot at Milford Academy NY or Valley Forge near Philadelphia. PITT has some great players attend those Prep Schools for a Year to get aligned academically.
All you have to do at Hillsborough is show up. I guess his mom made it difficult by misspelling Jordan…
You’re a jerk
You’re worst than a jersey a very disrespectful person
How many FBS schools would deny an athlete based on academics?
quite a few
All of them if he can’t get through the Clearinghouse.
Even Alabama? They “graduated” players who couldn’t read.
