Published

on

Pitt’s gotten themselves in position for an elite defensive back.

2023 4-star cornerback Braeden Marshall (Lake Mary, Florida) will make his college decision on July 30th and Pitt is a finalist.

Marshall tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that he will be deciding between these 6 schools: Pitt, Clemson, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Central Florida and Arkansas. Other schools that extended Marshall an offer were Miami, Nebraska, Penn State, Tennessee, Boston College, Cincinnati, Florida State, Indiana, Iowa State, Louisville, Maryland, Northwestern, Purdue, TCU, Virginia and West Virginia.

Marshall has official visits scheduled to Wisconsin (June 10), Pitt (June 17) and North Carolina (June 24).

Last October, Pitt and Tim Salem were the first Power Five program to extend Marshall and offer. Marshall also made an unofficial visit to Pitt last October.

Great ball skills, good tackler, hands need work. I counted at least 6 dropped interceptions.

It’s called working at his skills. He’ll get it right

Did I not say hands need work.

As he is a CB and wants to improve his skills he should eliminate schools in a ground and pound conference. Not only will he not get game experience but he won’t get much practice experience either.
