The Duquesne Dukes have added a potential big piece to their front court.
Former Bowling Green forward Joe Reece has committed to play for Keith Dambrot and the Dukes.

In 23 games, the 6’9” forward was averaging 11.2 points, 5.1 rebounds in 19 minutes per game. Prior to arriving at Bowling Green, Reece played for 3 seasons at Old Dominion.
With his 83 career games and 631 points and 358 rebounds, Reece is bringing experience and talent to the Duquesne front court.
“I expect Joe to be a real asset in the front court”, said Dambrot. “He’s a talented, athletic forward with a very solid all-around game who can score, rebound and defend. “
In a game last season against the Dukes, Reece scored 15 points and 12 rebounds at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
”We got an up-close look at what Joe can do last year when Bowling Green was here” added Dambrot. “He has played a lot of meaningful minutes for good programs at the Division 1 level. I am looking for that experience to benefit us as we move forward.”
After battling through depth issues last season with their front court, Duquesne has solidified that area with the return of Tre Williams, Austin Rotroff and Kevin Easley, along with the additions of Reece, Halil Barre, David Dixon and Matus Hronsky.
