Pitt Reaches Out to 2024 Prospects on Day 1 of Contact Period

Every year on June 15 at midnight EST, college coaches are permitted to contact rising juniors in high school and begin to actively recruit them.

Last year, Pitt reached out to a total of 20 prospects — by PSN’s count — on the 15th. This year, PSN will keep a running list below of recruits that have heard from Pitt.

A few hours after midnight, the Panthers’ staff has reached out to the following players (we will continue to update this list):

Que Duncan

6-foot-5 wing out of Notre Dame West Haven in Connecticut.

Amir Lindsey

Point guard out of The Rivers School in Massachusetts.

Jaiden Glover

6-foot-4 guard out of St. Benedict’s Prep. Plays for NY Renaissance.

Justin Menard

6-foot-3 guard out of NY, plays for Loomis Chaffee School (Nate Santos’ former prep school).

Rich Brisco

6-foot-7 forward/center out of Roselle Catholic in New Jersey.

Bryce Dortch

Dortch is a 6-foot-7 wing out of Massachusetts.

Daithi Quinn

6-foot-3 wing out of North Quincy HS in Massachusetts.

Kur Teng

Teng is a four-star, 6-foot-4 shooting guard ranked as the No. 34 player in the nation.

Kyle Greene

6-foot-2 point guard from Atlanta, GA. 247Sports ranks Greene as the No. 9 point guard in the nation.

Moses Hipps

6-foot-3 guard out of New Jersey. Ranked as the No. 71 prospect in the nation.

Caleb Middleton

6-foot-10 forward from New Hampshire with offers from Iowa, DePaul, and more.

Boogie Fland

Fland is one of the top prospects in America. Pitt got involved very early here, but Kentucky, Duke, Kansas, UCLA and plenty of other schools are all also recruiting Fland.

Tahaad Pettiford

Pettiford is a 5-foot-11 point guard out of New Jersey. Ranked in the top-50 in the class.

Yves Missi 

Missi heard from Pitt on Wednesday night. 6-foot-10 center is ranked as the No. 31 overall prospect in 2024.

Christian Jeffrey

New York guard stands at 6-foot-3 and plays for Bishop Loughlin.

Jacob Theodosiou

Theodosiou took an unofficial visit to Pitt last year. 6’3 Canadian guard.

Tyler Betsey

Betsey is a 6-foot-8 wing out of St. Thomas More and NY Renaissance. Heard from Pitt, West Virginia, and more on Wednesday, and also holds an offer from Penn State.

Kobe George

A 6-foot-3 guard out of North Carolina. Offers from Wake Forest, Rice, Old Dominion, East Carolina, Elon and Coastal Carolina.

Maurio Hanson

Hanson, a 6-foot-7 forward from North Carolina, told PSN that Jason Capel reached out to him. Hanson is rated as a 4-star recruit and the No. 60 overall player in the Class of 2024.

Darren Harris

A 6-foot-6 small forward from Virginia, Harris told PSN he heard from Duke, Pitt, Miami, Ohio State, and more within the first hour past midnight. Hanson is rated as a 4-star recruit and the No. 60 overall player in the Class of 2024.

Lewis Walker

Walker is a 6-foot-6 small forward from North Carolina. Heard from Pitt, Arkansas, and more. Walker holds offers from Wake Forest, Ohio, Coastal Carolina and North Carolina A&T.

Dellquan Warren

Warren is an explosive 6-foot-1 guard out of Erie, PA who attends Keystone Prep. Warren has been offered by Maryland and Rutgers.

Malachi Palmer

Palmer is a 6-foot-6 shooting guard from Harrisburg, PA, the 4-star recruit is ranked by 247 Sports as the No. 55 overall player in the Class of 2024. Pitt offered him back in September 2021.

Ian Jackson

Jackson is one of the top prospects in the country, and heard from Pitt, Kentucky, and North Carolina on Wednesday morning. The 5-star recruit is ranked by Rivals as the No. 3 overall player.

Jordan Vick

Vick’s mother told PSN that Jeff Capel reached out Wednesday morning. He’s a 6-foot guard with an offer from Pitt.

Royce Parham

Western PA’s top forward prospect, Parham told PSN that he heard from Pitt, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and more on Wednesday. Pitt offered him earlier this spring.

James Moore

Moore told PSN he heard from Pitt Wednesday morning. The four-star power forward is ranked in the top-60 in the nation by 247 Sports. New Jersey product, plays for NY Rens and The Patrick School.
