Lamar Seymore is a popular name in the Pitt football recruiting world.
The talented 3-star wide receiver from Miami made an official visit last weekend to Pitt and much speculation has centered around Seymore being one of the two unnamed players that have committed to Pitt.

A reason for the delay could be that Seymore was already committed and to the hometown Miami Hurricanes but that’s no longer the case.
Thursday morning, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound wideout announced on Twitter that he was decommitting from Miami.
”I would like to thank the University of Miami for taking notice of my athletic abilities at an early age and offering me a scholarship. I would like to thank Coach Cristobal and the entire University of Miami coaching staff for treating me like family. I will always have love for the 🤲🏾…with that being said I will be ready-committing from the University of Miami and opening up my recruitment.”
Seymore is a highly skilled wideout as he’s received offers from programs such as Michigan State, Colorado, Auburn, Georgia, Oklahoma, Illinois, Texas A&M, Indiana, Kentucky, Central Florida, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Penn State, West Virginia and Tennessee.
If the Panthers add Seymore, it would give them three talented wideouts in this recruiting class joining 4-star Zion Fowler and 3-star Kenny Johnson.
According to Karl’s article earlier this week, he’s committed to Pitt.
I’m hoping the 5 star wide receiver commits to Pitt!
Not happening unless we pay more than A&M…
He’s in town for his official visit this weekend
