Pitt’s top target in the Class of 2023 could be making another trip to Pittsburgh.
5-star wide receiver Hykeem Williams made an unofficial visit to Pitt in March, followed by an official visit at the end of June and it appears as though the Williams family could be back in the near future?
Last night, Hykeem’s mother posted this tweet suggesting they’re considering making a return visit soon.
If this third visit happens that would obviously be a big development for Pat Narduzzi and the Panthers.
Thanks to the efforts of Tiquan Underwood and Charlie Partridge, Pitt appears to have gone from a long shot to land this elite player to a legitimate contender.
Georgia is viewed as the front runner for Williams but if he makes another trip to Pittsburgh, that sure can’t hurt Pitt’s chances.
The Pitt staff is no doubt envisioning and hoping Williams becomes the next great wide receiver wearing the Blue and Gold, catching touchdown passes in 2023 from either Kedon Slovis or Kenny Minchey.
