Pitt will be finding out soon if they’ll be adding another talented wide receiver to their Class of 2023.
3-star wide out Lamar Seymore (Miami, Florida) has announced that he’ll be announcing his college decision on July 11. Four days ago, Seymore announced his final five finalists are Pitt, Penn State, Auburn, Central Florida and Miami (Fla.).
Seymore was a long-time commitment to Miami before announcing on June 23rd that he was de-committing and opening back up his recruitment.
Despite getting in on him late and not offering him until May 25, Tiquan Underwood has done a tremendous job recruiting and developing a strong relationship with Seymore.

The 6’0″, 185-pound wide out ended up making two official visits: Central Florida and Pitt, which took place on June 16-18.
In just seven games as a junior at Miami Central, Seymore hauled in 19 receptions for 355 yards and four touchdowns (at just under 20 yards per reception) alongside 2024 wide receiver Joshisa Trader — a top-10 national recruit in the cycle.
Pitt has landed commitments from four-star wide receiver Zion Fowler (Jersey City, New Jersey) and three-star wide receiver Kenny Johnson (York, Pennsylvania) so far this cycle, and targets like Seymore and five-star Hykeem Williams are still on the board.
