Twitter Reaction To The New Home of Pitt Football- Acrisure Stadium

The big news over the last 24 hours as been the reporting by 93.7 “The Fan’s” Andrew Fillipponi that Heinz Field is no more, and the new name will be Acrisure Stadium.

After 21 years, Heinz Field will be renamed by a Michigan-based business.

As you can imagine, this news isn’t being taken well by both Pitt and Steeler fans. Here’s what is being said on Twitter.

Regardless of what we call it, one thing that often goes unmentioned is that the Steelers stadium is kind of a shitty place to watch a game. It’s in serious need of renovations/a facelift. A team of their stature/importance should be playing in a great stadium.
