Recently, the No. 11 player in the 2025 class, Lincoln Park’s Meleek Thomas, visited Pitt.
Thomas picked up an offer from the Pitt staff last October, and also holds offers from Kansas State and St. John’s. Thomas has been performing well all summer, catching the eyes of scouts and coaches from all over. Even North Carolina’s Hubert Davis recently watched him play at Peach Jam.
Thomas competed last year for a loaded Lincoln Park team alongside D1 talents LA Pratt and Brandin Cummings, another Pitt target.
The Panthers have extended offers to Thomas as well as Alier Maluk (another WPIAL prospect) and Darryn Peterson in the 2025 class. Pitt is hosting a top 2024 prospect on Tuesday, August 2, which PSN will announce soon.
