In the ACC preseason media poll, Pitt was picked to finish second in the Coastal Division this season behind Miami.
Despite some key losses, the expectations are still there for the Panthers to have a very successful season and to possibly repeat as Coastal Division and ACC Champions.

This all depends upon how many and which starters we lose against WV and Tennessee. Next man will be the rallying call.
Nobody’s won the Coastal two years in a row since Va Tech back in 2010-11. I’d love it of course if we could break that cycle, but to be realistic, the odds are against it. Too much parity in that division.
