In an effort to provide as much Pitt football content as possible, Pittsburgh Sports Now will be announcing some exciting programming news over the next couple of weeks.

A big portion of this will be in the form of podcasts and to start things off, we’re extremely excited to announce that The Loyal Sons Podcast will be joining the Pittsburgh Sports Now network.

The Loyals Sons team of John “Squid” Cotton, David Haddad, Dylan Mitchell started entertaining Pitt fans with their podcast last September prior to the season opener against UMass and now they’ll be a part of our site for the upcoming Pitt season.

“The Loyal Sons are over-joyed to be teaming up with Pittsburgh Sports Now for the 2022 Pitt Football Season. We believe that PSN’s reach, industry expertise, and support will allow us to step up our production value significantly, while still maintaining the charm of a local-access TV show filmed in a residential basement. We’re proud to have built the brand to a place where an actual sports media outlet was willing to pay money for the rights to our unhinged ramblings. No takesies-backsies, PSN!”

“We started the show because we couldn’t talk about anything but Pitt football for years, so we figured we might as well hit “record” at some point.”

The team of John, David and Dylan, who are all from Ross Township and North Hills grads, will share their unique take on the Panthers starting later this month with a show once a week.

You can follow The Loyal Sons on Twitter at @TheLoyalSons and http://linktr.ee/theloyalsons.

As mentioned earlier, this is just the first announcement of Pitt football programing that Pittsburgh Sports Now will produce during the 2022 season.

Stay tuned because more is on the way!
