Pitt Staff Offers Two More Team Final 2024 Prospects

Published

on

After offering 2024 prospects Raleigh Burress and Jalil Bethea earlier in the day, the Pitt hoops staff showed no signs of slowing down on the recruiting trail, extending offers to guard Robert Wright III and forward Thomas Sorber later in the day.

Wright is a 6-foot point guard out of Neumann Goretti in Philadelphia, PA who also plays for Team Final on the Nike Circuit. The Wilmington, Delaware native led the Team Final 16u squad to the 16u Peach Jam Final Four earlier this summer, playing alongside Jalil Bethea and Thomas Sorber, who both picked up Pitt offers on Wednesday. Schools such as Syracuse, Georgetown, and Wake Forest are currently prioritizing the four-star guard.

On3 ranks Wright as the No. 32 player in the country, and the No. 5 point guard, while Rivals ranks him as a four star and the No. 25 player in 2024.

Sorber is a 6-foot-9 forward from Trenton, New Jersey, who also plays for Team Final. The Trenton, New Jersey native competes in the Philadelphia Catholic League for Archbishop Ryan High School. Sorber holds offers from Pitt, Georgetown, Maryland, Providence, Virginia Tech, and others.
