The much anticipated Pitt starting quarterback decision is in.
This morning at a press conference, Pat Narduzzi announced that USC transfer Kedon Slovis has won the quarterback battle against veteran Nick Patti and will start next Thursday’s season opener against West Virginia.
Narduzzi said it was a good competition but after evaluating both players since the spring that he and his staff felt Slovis was the best option.
Narduzzi has made his opinion now we want to hear what you think. Do you like Pitt’s decision to go with Slovis over Patti?

I like it because I have faith in the staff to choose the best guy to get us the W. Don’t like that Patti has to sit again. He has worked hard and probably could be playing elsewhere. H2P !
If K.Slovis stays both Years of eligibility to allow K.Minchey to redshirt that will work out.
.
However if Patti is out of eligibility after this Season, or he transfers out before the Season starts, while K.Minchey gets the Irish bug, and K.Slovis is one and done to the NFL this could be ugly overall.
.
Fingers crossed things work out, else PITT is in the transfer portal looking around again in December 22′.
Mincheys headed to Pitt to get better prepared for the NFL. Especially after we win another acc title. H2P!
