In September, Pitt will be hosting several big-time targets from the 2023 class, including priority recruit Ty-Laur Johnson.

Johnson, Jaylen Curry, and Jaland Lowe are all 2023 recruits who will be visiting in September. But for now, the staff focused on 2024’s this week, offering four prospects alone on Wednesday. In case you missed it, here are the four prospects that Pitt offered.

Raleigh Burgess | 6’11 | F | Cincinnati, OH | Indiana Elite

Burgess led his Indiana Elite squad to the 3SSB 16U title earlier this summer, and individually, his recruitment skyrocketed due to stellar play all summer. He holds offers from Ohio State, Virginia Tech, and many more.

Jalil Bethea | 6’4 | G | Warminster, PA | Team Final

Bethea is a 6-foot-4 guard out of Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, PA, just north of Philadelphia. He competed for Team Final all summer on the Nike circuit, earning offers from UCLA, Villanova, and other mid and high majors.

Robert Wright III | 6’0 | G | Wilmington, DE | Team Final

Wright led the Team Final 16u squad to the 16u Peach Jam Final Four earlier this summer, playing alongside Jalil Bethea and Thomas Sorber, who both picked up Pitt offers on Wednesday. Schools such as Syracuse, Georgetown, and Wake Forest are currently prioritizing the four-star guard.

Thomas Sorber | 6’9 | F | Trenton, NJ | Team Final

Sorber is a 6-foot-9 forward from Trenton, New Jersey, who also plays for Team Final. The Trenton, New Jersey native competes in the Philadelphia Catholic League for Archbishop Ryan High School. Sorber holds offers from Pitt, Georgetown, Maryland, Providence, Virginia Tech, and others.
