The Backyard Brawl on Thursday will no doubt be an electric atmosphere as a sellout crowd will pack Acrisure Stadium.
Normally, this type of game would be one in which Pitt would host a number of big recruits. However, with it being a 7 PM kickoff and a day before Friday night football that won’t be the case.
A number of recruits have told PSN that they are unable to attend either because of Thursday night practice or because if they miss school on Friday, they are not able to play in their game on Friday night.
The good news for Pitt is that a number of these recruits have confirmed to PSN that they’ll be attending next weekend’s game against Tennessee.
While the number might not be high, Pitt will have a few important recruits in attendance for the West Virginia game.
Talented Pitt 2023 wide receiver commitment Lamar Seymore tells PSN that he will be in Pittsburgh for an unofficial visit. The native of Miami, Florida committed to Pitt back on July 11 over other offers from Auburn, Florida State, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan State, Miami, Oklahoma, Penn State, Texas A&M, Central Florida and West Virginia.
