On Thursday night, Pitt offered another wing in the 2024 class, this time by the name of Isaiah Evans.
Evans, a North Carolina native, plays his high-school ball for Mecklenburg High School in Huntersville, NC. The 6-foot-7 small forward is ranked as the No. 20 overall player in the country by 247 Sports, and the No. 3 player in a strong North Carolina class.
Evans holds offers from Pitt, Georgia Tech, Memphis, Georgetown, Mizzou, Providence, NC State, Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, Auburn, and others. His first high-major offer came from the Auburn staff back on June 24, and since then, his recruitment has blown up with all of the rest of those programs following suit.
Pitt has now offered eight wing prospects in the 2024 class, including Evans. Overall, the Panthers’ staff has offered 24 players in the class, and has reached out or shown interest in at least 23 other players.
