Published

on

Pitt redshirt senior offensive lineman Owen Drexel suffered an injury late in the fourth quarter of a long drive.

After a short rush from junior running back Israel Abanikanda, Drexel fell to the ground and grabbed his left leg. He stayed down on the field for some staff with medical staff, before being helped up. He hobbled over back to the sideline, not able to put any pressure on his left leg.

His teammates helped him to the bench where he medical staff looked over him and treated him.

In place of Drexel, redshirt first-year offensive lineman Terrence Moore comes in to play the center position.
