LOOK: Pitt Basketball Commits Visit Alongside Priority Recruits

On Saturday, Pitt hosted several recruits for visits for the Pitt-Tennessee football game.

2023 COMMITS: MARLON BARNES, CARLTON CARRINGTON

Pitt currently has two prospects in the 2023 class verbally committed to the program: Marlon Barnes (6-foot-6 wing) and Carlton Carrington (6-foot-4 guard).

Now, for the other recruits who were in attendance. Let’s start with the lone official visit of the weekend.

2023 JALAND LOWE

Lowe, a 6-foot-1 point guard prospect out of Texas, took his official visit to Pitt over the weekend. The four-star guard spent time with the other recruits that were on campus and took in the football game at Acrisure Stadium.

2024 MATTHEW GILHOOL

Gilhool is a 6-foot-10 forward out of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania who plays for Westtown. Gilhool picked up an offer from Pitt while on the trip.

*2024 big Thomas Sorber was also slated to visit Pitt this weekend, but has not shared any photos from the visit or confirmed if he arrived for the visit yet.
