ACC Releases Pitt WBB Conference Schedule

Published

on

The ACC released their respective women’s basketball programs conference schedules for the 2022-23 season on Wednesday.

Pitt faces an 18-game conference schedule for the third season since 2019-20, when the ACC added two more games to the original, 16 game slate. Head coach Lance White heads into his fifth season as Pitt head coach and is looking to improve upon last season’s disappointing ACC campaign, that only saw two wins for his team.

The Panthers will play four teams in a home-and-home and the 10 other teams just once. The four teams are Louisville, Syracuse, Notre Dame and Boston College, the same as usual in the 18 game schedule, as they are all former Big East schools.

Pitt plays Miami, Clemson, North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Virginia at home, while they take on Wake Forest, NC State, Florida State, Duke and Georgia Tech on the road to complete the conference schedule.

They begin ACC play with a match against Louisville on Dec. 18 at the Petersen Events Center and end it on Feb. 26 on the road against NC State. The ACC Tournament begins on Mar. 1 and runs through Mar. 5 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C.
