Voters in the Associated Press Top 25 weren’t impressed by Pitt’s 21-point road win and the fact that they started their 3rd string quarterback and are playing without a number of starters.
In the Week 3 rankings released Sunday afternoon, Pitt dropped one spot to No. 24 in the Associated Press rankings.
Pitt will be favored to win their next 3 games so if they win as expected, the Panthers will likely move into the Top 15.
Here is the Top 25, which still includes five teams from the ACC Conference and the Top 7 teams remained the same.

Well that sucks. The whole system is flawed, but once they increase to 12 team playoff it won’t matter quite as much.
There are some other Clubs that are Undefeated yet. If PITT continues to Win they’ll be fine.
