on

There are currently seven Pitt players who are not dressed for the game against URI Saturday at Noon.

These players include redshirt senior’s defensive lineman Devin Danielson, offensive lineman Owen Drexel and quarterback Nick Patti, senior wide receiver Jared Wayne, sophomore running back Rodney Hammond Jr. and junior defensive lineman Dayon Hayes and Nate Temple.

Patt, Danielson, and Drexel suffered injuries in the loss against Tennessee on Sept. 10 and have not played since. Hayes is missing his second consecutive game, and Hammond misses his third straight game since starring in the win over WVU on Sept. 1. Wayne took a hard hit last game against WMU and left the game before the end of the first half.

There are also five Panthers who are dressed for this game against the Rams who have been injured.

This list includes senior quarterback Kedon Slovis and redshirt seniors in defensive linemen Deslin Alexandre and Habakkuk Baldonado, defensive back Marquis Williams and offensive lineman Gabe Houy.

Baldonado and Williams left the game against WMU with injuries. Slovis left the Tennessee game after suffering a concussion at halftime and did not play last Saturday against WMU. Alexandre suffered an arm injury against WVU and hasn’t played since. Houy has no appearances on the season for the Panthers.
