Williams, who attends Creekside High School in Fairburn, Georgia, switched his commitment from Memphis to Pitt on July 22. The 6’4″, 270-pound lineman made his first visit to Pittsburgh the weekend of June 24 as he made an official visit to Pitt.
At this point, it’s not known if the Pitt coaches plan on starting Williams out at offensive guard or offensive tackle.
Williams is one of five offensive linemen in Pitt’s Class of 2023, joining 3-star tackle Ryan Carretta (Columbus, Ohio), 3-star guard Phillip Daniels (Cincinnati, Ohio), 3-star tackle Tai Ray (Apopka, Florida) and 3-star tackle Colin Van Rooy (Strongsville, Ohio).
