BROOKLYN, NY — For the first time since 2019, the Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Media Day was held in person, back at Barclays Center, which was where the conference saw its championship and the season in general shut down.
In the Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll, Duquesne was picked last among the conference’s 15 coaches and 15 media members, with one credentialed individual selecting both the preseason poll and the preseason all-conference honors.
Duquesne was one point behind LaSalle, while Dayton took 22 of 29 first-place votes, as one vote was not submitted in time to be counted.
The Dukes also were not named to any preseason all-conference teams, one of three schools which missed out on such recognition.
More often than not, the poll is a reflection of the previous season and Duquesne placed last a season ago, while massively retooling the roster for a second consecutive season.
Below is the full poll and all-conference honorees.
