Pitt women’s basketball commit and North Allegheny High School senior guard Jasmine Timmerson is hosting a basketball camp this month.

Timmerson is hosting the inaugural camp at North Allegheny High School on Sunday, Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. to noon. The free camp is available to girls from second to eighth grade and Timmerson will work as the main instructor. She will work the attendees through drill sessions and 5v5 scrimmages as well. Those that participate will also get a free t-shirt and lunch provided to them.

The standout Class of 2023 point guard committed to Pitt in January 2022, making her the second WPIAL player to commit to the program under Lance White. Chartiers Valley guard Aislin Malcom joined the Class of 2022 and is now in her first year at Pitt.

Timmerson starred for the Tigers last season, scoring around 14 points per game and leading her team to their 10th straight section title with a 21-4 record. For her efforts, she earned a spot on the First-Team All-State and the First-Team All-Section by the Big 56 conference.
