An interesting recruiting item to keep your eye on over the upcoming weeks.
Pitt extended an offer to 2023 3-star cornerback Dante Lovett from DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland. Lovett received the offer from Andre Powell.

This is an interesting offer because Lovett is already committed to Virginia Tech and has been so since June 24.
Is there a chance Lovett makes a visit to Pitt?
The 6’0”, 183-pound cornerback tells PSN that “I’m not sure yet if I’m going to take a visit. I gotta talk it over with my family.”
In their current Class of 2023, Pitt has commitments from three defensive backs- 3-star cornerback Brice Pollock, 3-star cornerback Shadarian Harrison and 3-star safety Jesse Anderson.
Over the years, Powell and Pitt have had success recruiting players from DeMatha Catholic, so we’ll see if anything further develops from this offer.
