PITTSBURGH — It wasn’t always pretty, but a dominant defensive effort and potent rushing attack led Pitt to a 19-9 win over Syracuse, and Kedon Slovis, Rodney Hammond Jr., C’Bo Flemister, SirVocea Dennis and Deslin Alexandre spoke following the win.
Hammond and Flemister combined for 166 yards and two touchdowns, and Dennis and Alexandre combined for 15 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a pass breakup.
