It’s Gameday for the Pitt Panthers as they take on the Virginia Cavaliers in Charlottsville, Virginia. Kickoff from Scott Stadium will take place at Noon. PSN’s Karl Ludwig is in Virginia and will have complete pre and postgame coverage. The biggest storyline for Pitt is that with a win, Pat Narduzzi’s program will once again be bowl eligible. **2024 3-star safety Zahir Rainer has released a Top 10 and it includes the Pitt Panthers. Rainer (5’10”, 180-pounds) attends Trinity Episcopal High School in Richmond, Virginia. Rainer’s Top 10 consists of Pitt, Minnesota, Duke, Wake Forest, Maryland, Colorado, Virginia Tech, Arkansas, Virginia and Florida A&M. Rainer made an unofficial visit to Pitt back on September 29.

**A big day for sophomore quarterback Mason Mims as he receives his first D-1 offer and it comes from the Pitt Panthers. Mims (6’3″, 180-pounds) attends Oxford High School in Oxford, Alabama. Mims received the news from Pitt assistant quarterback Jonathan DiBiaso. Mims is also a standout baseball player.

**On Friday, Pitt football extended an offer to freshman wide receiver/safety Denairius Gray from Boynton Beach, Florida. Gray (6’1″, 170-pounds) received the offer from Graham Wilbert and this is Gray’s first Power Five offer.
Three punters will play. One quarterback will play.
I didn’t like it at the time, but now I totally understand why Addison left. Look for Bartholomew to leave next.
