NEW YORK — On Wednesday night, Pitt’s John Hugley will make his season debut in the Legends Classic against Michigan.

Hugley is in the starting lineup, making his first appearance of the year after suffering a preseason knee injury. Last season as a sophomore, Hugley averaged more than 14 points and seven rebounds per game, earning All ACC honorable mention honors.

Alongside Hugley, Nelly Cummings, Jamarius Burton, Blake Hinson, and Greg Elliott will start for Pitt (1-1). Hugley will have a big test in front of him with All-American forward Hunter Dickinson (7-foot-1) lining up for Michigan.

The Panthers and Wolverines will tip off at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
