John Hugley checked in for Pitt after the first media timeout.
PITTSBURGH — Pitt star power foward John Hugley did not start against Alabama State, but he did dress for the game. Hugley has been dealing with a sprained knee that he suffered over the offseason.
Hugley has appeared in one game this season when he played 22 minutes in Pitt’s loss to Michigan. In that game he went 2-for-6 shooting and snagged a rebound.
Last season, Hugley led the team in points (14.8) and rebounds (7.9) per game. His presence down low has been difficult for the Panthers to replace this season.
Follow our updates to see if Hugley does make an appearance in today’s game. As stated he is dressed, but not starting for Pitt.
