As they search for a quarterback to add to their Class of 2023, Pitt extended an offer this morning to a quarterback on the West Coast.
2023 3-star quarterback Ty Dieffenbach from Agoura High Schol in Agoura, California. Currently, Dieffenbach (6’5″, 190-pounds) is committed to UNLV, along with offer offers from Colorado and San Diego State.

Dieffenbach received the offer from offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti, Jr.
Dieffenbach becomes the second 2023 quarterback to receive an offer from Pitt since the de-commitment of Kenny Minchey, as earlier in the week, the Panthers offered 3-star quarterback Brady Drogosh, who’s currently committed to Cincinnati.
And of the kid Temple dual-threat commit from Ocean Township NJ, same HS, and same QB coach as our famed Kenny Pickett (who was committed to Temple as well before flipping)?
Maybe some at PSN or PITT’s recruiting coordinators should tell Cignetti, man this guy reminds me of Bill Stull instead?
