Former Florida Gators wide receiver Daejon Reynolds has picked up an offer from Tijuan Underwood and the Panthers.
The redshirt freshman is a former 4-star recruit that attended Grayson High School in Georgia. The 6’2″ wide out was a coveted player in the Class of 2021 with offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Florida State Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
After playing in just one game in 2021, Reynolds caught 11 passes for 244 yards and 2 touchdowns this past season, including an 8 catch, 135 yards and 2 touchdowns against Vanderbilt.
2023 wide receivers Lamar Seymore and Kenny Johnson are currently committed to Pitt but lost Jaden Bradley and Jaylon Barden to the transfer portal and Zion Fowler, who de-committed.
Adding playmakers to the roster is an obvious priority because prior Reynolds, Pitt also offered Old Dominion transfer wide receiver Ali Jennings along with Kent State wide receiver Dante Cephas.
