Big news out of Morgantown, West Virginia as a surprise name has left the Mountaineers program.
Sophomore wide receiver Kaden Prather has made the decision to leave West Virginia and enter the NCAA Transfer Portal.

RM LAW, P.C. is a boutique litigation law firm with a national practice dedicated to protecting shareholders’ interests and promoting improved corporate governance practices.
This past season, Prather caught 52 passes for 501 yards and 3 touchdowns. With the earlier departures of Sam Jones and Bryce Ford-Wheaton to the 2023 NFL Draft, Prather was expected to be the top target in West Virginia’s 2023 passing attack.
Coaches across the country will no doubt be lining up and preparing their recruiting pitch in an attempt to land this impact player. This will no doubt include Tiquan Underwood, Pat Narduzzi and the Pitt Panthers.
Coming out of Northwest High School in Germantown, Maryland, Prather (6’3″, 200) was a 4-star recruit and rated as one of the Top 200 overall players in the Class of 2021.
Prior to signing with WVU, Prather received offers from 40+ schools, including Pitt, Alabama, Baylor, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Wisconsin.
Prather did make an unofficial visit to Pitt in January of 2020.
Give him an offer, dude is like Walmart, alway Open.
can he block?
He showers responsively, he’ll be fine. Plus he wears number #3 kind of like State Pen. does in the B10 East each year.
Except for their multiple BigTen championships….What position would pitt finish in the BigTen east every year? Teams that draw 25k usually are AAC so be thankful the ACC took you
h2p

AAC is a better fit for an urban school where there are other things to do when team is underperforming.
AAC is pretty good football and basketball.
PITT in B10 East, likely 4th or 5th jockeying wiht Michigan State
Dominate the state, finish 3rd in the B10-East.
Yep. Delusions of grandeur.
rent free…this is so easy
you’d compete with Rutgers and Maryland for the bottom
The won in 2016 and lost to Pitt. Give it up.
also 2005 and 2008. The drop by Hamilton, yes I remember. I think it was the last time the Steelers stadium was filled for a college game.
h2p!

Damn, when did the Steelers buy the stadium? Last I heard, it was owned by the Sports and Exhibition Authority of Pittsburgh and the Steelers rented the place just like your favorite college football team does.
Naw, that was this season with the mountaineers.
LOL.. you are a special person you are…
thanks Jane!
Do the receivers at Michigan block?
they don’t need to, OL is nasty
If Paterno hadn’t blackballed Pitt, we wouldn’t be having this discussion. And he had the unmitigated gall to lie about it. The extra money would have been put to good use. We could have matched PS’s offers and being in a city has definite advantages. Ohio State is the northwestern section of Columbus, Michigan thou in Ann Arbor is about 30-minutes from Detroit and they recruit very well.
When Jackie Sherrill left in 81’ and Admin cleaned up recruiting practices PITT came back to reality.
